Buyer - Grocery
Kuala Lumpur - Bandar Menjalara, Kepong
Responsibilities:
- Deliver commercial Key Performance Index
- Create profitable customer-driven ranges and promotions to deliver sales and margin targets
- Manage group of products to support the delivery of company customer plans and promises
- Select the range of products to be sold in a given department
- Implement key Tesco processes, i.e. Price/Service Level
- Deliver promotional plans in line with Promotion Policy & Timetable
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in any disciplines, with buying experience within a multi-site retail consumer business
- Experience in key account or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) background is highly preferred
- Business-minded with a passion for retail. Good in planning and possess strategic thinking
- Possess understanding of country and global supply chain processes
- Strong organizing, numerical, negotiation and communication skills. Results and customer-focused with strong commercial awareness
- Computer literate with good command of English and BahasaMalaysia
- Self-motivated, a good team player, disciplined, committed and able to work under pressure
