Executive Product Planning
Selangor - Shah Alam
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data on consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
- Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into report.
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising and communications programs and strategies.
- Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals or agencies.
- Gather data on competitors and analyse their prices, sales and method of marketing and distribution.
- Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature.
- Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Candidate should be organized, as creating processes, best practices and time lines are the primary functions of this role.
- Candidate must also be excellent planners, possessing the ability to think in short and long terms. Communicating effectively with staff, vendors and customers will also be required.
- Applicants for this position must be able to immediately gain credibility with others to negotiate with and influence them. Additionally, a strong attention to detail is imperative.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
- Full-Time position available.
