Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) was established under the Laws of Malaysia, Act 535, the Tabung Haji Act (1995), which was, came into force on 1 June 1995. 1. SENIOR MANAGER (BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT)
RESPONSIBLITIES
i. Within the context of a matrix organization, develop and maintain a corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery, business recovery and emergency response management.
ii. Develop, produce and update BCP/DR materials and documentation (e.g., plans, emergency response procedures, call lists, test results, etc.).
iii. Plan and coordinate all business continuity technical and user testing.
iv. Work closely with IT to develop/maintain DR plans for critical systems and applications and to ensure that internal recovery sites are updated and functioning properly.
v. Liaise with Business Continuity Coordinators to develop effective working relationships.
vi. Maintain and update the Business Continuity corporate website.
vii. Perform risk analyses for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
viii. Assist in with crisis management in the event of a business interruption.
ix. Develop status reports (e.g., report cards) on departmental continuity plans and prepare management reports as necessary.
x. Analyze and report on implications of regulatory requirements and industry guidance on BCP/DR programs.
REQUIREMENTS
i. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Business Science/ Finance or equivalent. Candidates with a professional qualification.
ii. Minimum four (4) to five (5) years actively developing and supporting business continuity programs.
iii. Understanding of broker/dealers, financial services organizations including front office/trading, middle and back office (e.g.,clearing) operations.
iv. Knowledge pf technology product development life cycle, technical infrastructure concepts (e.g., telecommunications, data storage, resiliency, etc.).
v. Quick understanding of business and system operations and the ability to communicate in these areas.
vi. Familiarity with the current regulatory environment on BCP for broker/dealers.
vii. Excellent written and communication skills.
viii. Proficiency in MS office products (PowerPoint, excel, etc.).
ix. Self-starter with the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy.
2. SENIOR MANAGER (STRATEGIC PLANNING)
RESPONSIBLITIES
i. Review, identify and implement the corporate goals and strategic initiatives of TH.
ii. Monitor and participate in the GLC transformation process involving TH.
iii. Undertake corporate planning functions for value creation.
REQUIREMENTS
i. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent. Candidates with a professional
qualification or MBA would be preferred.
ii. More than five (5) years working experience in the areas of Strategic and Corporate Planning and Corporate Finance.
iii. Well versed in the dynamics of the global and local economic and market conditions.
iv. Knowledgable in the GLC transformation programmes, performance review, balance scorecard and KPI monitoring.
v. Strong organisational and leadership skills, commmited and proactive team player.
vi. Competent in financial analysis, scenario planning, corporate monitoring and investment appraisal.
vii. Good oral and written communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
viii. Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
3. SENIOR MANAGER (PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENT)
RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Identify, evaluate and appraise strategic investments in private equity.
ii. Manage and execute TH’s strategic investments in private equity.
iii. Assist in managing and monitoring the portfolio of equity investments.
REQUIREMENTS
i. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent. Candidates with a professional
qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or MBA would be preferred.
ii. Five (5) years working experience in the areas of Corporate Finance, Asset Management, Equity Investment or Venture Capital.
iii. Well versed in the dynamics of the various sectors of the economy and market conditions.
iv. Knowledgable in the Securities Commission’s guidelines, Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia, FIC and other relevant guidelines.
v. Strong organisational and negotiations skills, committed and proactive team player.
vi. Competent in analysis of financial statements, financial modelling, equity valuation, risk identification and investment appraisal.
vii. Good oral and written communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
4. MANAGER (PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENT)
RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Identify, evaluate and appraise strategic investments in private equity.
ii. Manage and execute TH’s strategic investments in private equity.
